Why I do what I do
It's not easy to pursue what you truly want to pursue. People tell you: ‘find a real job’ or ‘you need to follow the money’ and only then you can do what you like. You hear it all the time. You feel pressured, you are afraid. But what if it is not the case and you can follow your passion and create a life of your dreams? Feeling happy and grateful every day. Life of fulfilment.
My whole life I was afraid. And I worried: what if I fail? Now I have a different fear. What if I will live my life in misery and never try? To change that fear over I've waited for a tragedy to happen. My life kicked me so I could reframe what I believe in and completely change the actions I take. Please don't wait for your tragedy. You can act now.
One beautiful sunny day I was assisting in Puppy School classes in Hethersett, UK. But before the class started I got a call from my mom. My cousin or as I like to think of her - my sister has cancer... After her surgery, I flew back to Poland to keep her company. Her results came back. She needs to go through chemo. Seeing her tears and her mom's tears broke my heart into a million pieces. But we are strong. We are fighters. And we will fight that bloody thing too! I never had any doubts in my mind about it! And she is doing so great! Her incredible strength is my motivator to go further. If she can go through such a devastating thing, how can I give up on my dream just in case I fail? How can I be afraid of failure when that failure is not life-threatening? Isn't it worse to live your life on a safe side and fail to try?
I knew that I love animals - nothing brings me more joy than seeing an animal. I'm fascinated by their behaviour and I love learning. And when I've learnt ways in which we can communicate with our animals, ways that I never imagined possible - I just felt an incredible drive to help to spread the word. And that's what I'm here for. To spread the knowledge on how to communicate with our beloved animals. And to inspire people to spread that word too. It can be the passion that you were looking for in your life. Just like it is for me.
The only way we can change this world for the better is when we do this together. I want people to be armed with knowledge and kindness. I want them to fight for the good cause through the kind actions they take.
And we will change this world. Together.
